Rose water is something that has been a part of Indian Beauty and Skincare rituals since ages, so much so that the noobest of the noob can also cite a few benefits of this ancient beauty product.
I have been trying to make informed purchase decisions for which reading labels and researching the contents of the label is an integral step. Lately I see many moisturizers & serums claiming to have Hyaluronic Acid (HA) as the star ingredient. In Beauty & Skin care world buzz word ingredients are nothing new so I thought I should understand what the noise around Hyaluronic Acid is all about.
In my house I have a rectangular dining table, with two chairs that have four legs each residing beside the long side and a bench with four legs on the opposite. When Ms. Super Consumer visited me and saw this setting the first thing she said is “I love how the bench is reducing the clutter of legs”. And she was absolutely right, the bench that serves the purpose of two chairs but simultaneously reduced the clutter by four legs gives a feel of spaciousness and clutter free vision. Similar were the thoughts of Eero Saarinen when he designed the Industrial Design Classic – The Tulip Chair.
To be absolutely honest I got it just for the rich history behind this product and that packaging! Lets take a moment to admire this wonderful piece of packaging design. Yes I admit, I am (or was, so I would like to think) one of those that get swayed by great packaging. This perfume is not for the weak hearted; its strong and bold in every sense.
When it comes to Iconic handbags, the Hermès Birkin is the ultimate status symbol. It is known for its superior craftsmanship and an insane price tag. Standard models start around US$7,000. Hermès is known to be extremely secretive about the number of Birkin bags that it manufactures each year, limiting the supply to the elite and fashionable.
Not enough is said about how good these products are, perhaps because they are cheap and don’t grab eye-balls. These have pleasantly surprised me because they work without breaking the bank. Read ahead if you feel like saving a few bucks.
In my opinion Nykaa is doing a great job at getting us access to global brands and the amount of buzz the Korean Beauty Brands have created in the western beauty industry that its high time we also look east.
Innisfree is a Korean Brand that enterd the Indian Market sometime back, and I say about time we get acess to global brands. Korean skincare and makeup is world renowned for the use of unique ingredients and their claimed effectiveness. I had been wanting to try Korean stuff since a while so when Nykaa made it availaible online I though these need to be given a shot. I tried their Sheet Masks in Rose & Cucumber and the Jeju Volcanic Scoria from the Capsule Recipie Pack Collection.
I have always loved perfume, the bottles, its colour and the scent within always intrigued me. I also find the whole science behind it very interesting. Its amazing how each fragrance wears differently on different people. For this very reason I am almost always weary of giving and receiving perfumes as gifts. But I got this one as a gift from a close friend and its changing my opinion about receiving perfumes as a present.
To be honest I am not a mask person, I don’t have the time or inclination to mask at all! Mostly because I have a serious doubt about their effectiveness and nobody wants to answer the door with green goop on their faces! So selecting one then buying it and using it often to come up with a review, was beyond just tasking for me.
