Ouai Haircare as a brands has a huge hype surrounding it! Considering it is created by celebrity stylist Jen Atkin famed for keeping up the manes of the Kardashians, which in itself guaranteed the brand its fair share of limelight! Everybody who knows anything about hair-care is talking about it so I had to give some of their products a shot! In this post I am reviewing the Ouai Volume Spray because this girl definitely needs more volume.
I have been trying various Innisfree products since they first launched in India. Their offerings have one thing in common great packaging and a beautiful scent. In terms of efficacy they haven’t impressed me yet! But I am hopeful about their new launches. Here I am talking about three products; Toner, Serum & Sleeping Pack from the Whitening Pore Range. Bear with me because I am squeezing in three reviews in one post so its bound to be long-ish.
Speaking of hyped hair product the Ouai Wave Spray tops the list! Considering it is created by celebrity stylist Jen Atkin famed for keeping up the manes of the Kardashians, which in itself guaranteed the brand its fair share of limelight! It’s the IT product every beauty magazine, blogger and stylist is raving about so I had to give it a shot!
Do you folks know that feeling when you like something so you keep going back for more… something similar is happening to me in case of hair products from Organix. I have been recommending them right & left to the folks I know and a male colleague of mine tried the Biotin variant and raved about it to me so I had to try it for myself.
I am a huge fan of Bioderma, a French Pharmacy Brand so just that fact might have swayed me a little, because the French take their Beauty seriously! One of the first posts I wrote on this blog, two years ago was a review for the Sensibio H2O and in the years that have passed have seen me try various offerings from Bioderma. So after finishing my previous face-wash I decided to take Sebium Gel for a ride.
The Sunday Riley C.E.O. Brightening Serum is an award winning product which contains one of the trending new skincare ingredients, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate which is a stable, gentle, and lipid-soluble form of Vitamin C. All this goodness at a high concentration of 15% which essentially means big impact and quick action. Of course like most Sunday Riley offerings this comes with an equally big price tag. Lets find out how it fares on my skin.
I admit Tidal has its fair share of hype surrounding it and the steep price is also something that needs to be thought about. I won this product in a giveaway and to be absolutely honest if I were to buy this I would have expected the moon and stars at that price point. Getting it not as a part of PR and without spending the money has perhaps helped me look at it it from a new and more objective standpoint.
I go really slow with my Shower Gels, I don’t use much at one-go so a standard size bottle lasts me for many months but on the contrary husband dearest goes through them at top speed and I am talking about random super-market stuff which is probably full of harsh ingredients like Sulphates and Triclosan. To help the situation I thought I should explore relatively safer options. So during the Kronokare sale I had to get one for him & one for myself. I chose 500 ml bottles of All is Well and Revive & Thrive but ended up getting sent 10 bottles of 100 ml each! But this way I got to try both.
I am always on a look out for a good moisturizer for the face. We all know that is no easy feat so I was compelled to try this Moist-Urge Moisturizing Face Cream (That name LOL) especially since the tube size of 15 gram didn’t seem like too much commitment. 😀
I am not a big supporter of mechanical exfoliation for many reasons. Typically, this form of exfoliation can cause a lot of inflammation within the skin, and micro tears on the epidermis. Often the abrasive beads used by brands are sharp & not eco-friendly. Post making a shift to using products like this for chemical exfoliation I haven’t used a physical scrub since ages but thanks to the sale prices I mentioned in my previous blog post I thought I should give this Polish the Blemish- Face Scrub a shot; not so much for my face but also for my hands & elbow.
